CheeseStorm


Hello

We are delighted to invite you along to the next CheeseStorm (formally known as the Multidisciplinary Design Clinic).The idea of the CheeseStorm is to bring together students and graduates from across all disciplines to share a common space and share expertise across different fields. The economy needs T-Shaped people (‘vertical’ specialist depth with the ‘horizontal’ appreciation and understanding of other disciplines and professional contexts) to work together to navigate through rising complexities, solve complex problems.

It will be a chance to share your past work, share future ideas and visions, share advice and lots more with each other in a creative and informal space.

We will be using a presentation format called Pecha-Kucha to help you introduce yourselves and your work, we ask that you use thepresentation template, which you get on registration mail and fill it with anything that you want to talk about. Remember the presentation will automatically move on every 20 seconds so you need to be quick!

Service Design:
Services are systems of value creation which have specific implications and experienced overtime through different touchpoints. Designing them is a holisitc, iterative and multi-disciplinary process. Service Design is an emerging discipline that collaborates discipline, apply design thinking and co-design services with an explorative, generative and evaluative design approach in which service designers are engaged in the process to observe, seek problems, understand the systems, identify needs, frame problems, match constraints to possibilities, work collaboratively, explore and appreciate solutions, weigh alternatives, and communicate their ideas verbally, graphically and physically.
